How to Serve a Baked Cheesecake

Remove cheesecake from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavour.

For best results, top or garnish cheesecake within 1 to 3 hours of serving, depending on stability of selected topping(s).

To ensure nice clean cuts that leave cheesecake filling intact; wipe knife blade between each cut with a clean, damp towel. This prevents the creamy filling from building up on the blade.

Cheesecakes can be served directly from the springform pan bottom, but if you prefer to remove a baked and chilled cheesecake, try this no-fail technique:

    1. Before you start baking, turn the bottom section of the pan rim-side down before inserting into springform side; secure latch. Prepare cheesecake and refrigerate as usual.
    2. When ready to serve remove the springform side of the pan.
    3. Now insert a long thin metal spatula or two pancake turners between crust and pan bottom; carefully lift cheesecake off pan onto serving plate.
