The History of Maxwell House Coffee
To regular coffee drinkers, "Good to the Last Drop!" means good coffee...Maxwell House Coffee! It's one of the most famous slogans, but do you know how it began?
Back in 1907, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt visited Nashville, Tennessee. There was an enthusiastic reception for him both in the famous old Maxwell House Hotel and throughout the city. During this visit he enjoyed his first cup of Maxwell House Coffee, and when offered another cup the President exclaimed, "Delighted! It's good to the last drop!"
