What You Need:
- 1 pkg. (150 g) Kraft Dinner Smart Vegetables Macaroni & Cheese
- ⅓ cup puréed cooked carrots
- 2 tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
Prepare Kraft Dinner as directed on package, using the Sensible Solution directions. Stir in carrots. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Pour leftover carrot purée into ice-cube trays. Freeze for 1 hour. Remove from tray and place in resealable plastic freezer bag. Next time you make macaroni and cheese, add 2 to 3 frozen carrot cubes when adding the cheese sauce mix.
How to Cook and Purée Carrots:
Peel 1 carrot; cut into small chunks. Place in saucepan. Add enough water to cover carrots; cook on medium heat 12 to 15 min. or until carrots are tender. Drain. Place in blender; blend until smooth.
Prepare using 1 baby food jar (4.5 fl. oz./128 mL) puréed carrots.
