What You Need:
- 1 pkg. (225 g) Kraft Dinner Smart Vegetable Macaroni & Cheese
- 1 tbsp. oil
- ½ tsp. cumin seed
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ lb. (225 g) lean ground chicken
- 1 cup canned diced tomatoes, undrained
- ½ tsp. ground coriander
- ½ tsp. garam masala
- ½ tsp. red chili powder or cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. ground turmeric
Make It:
Prepare Kraft Dinner Smart as directed on package.
Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add
cumin seed; cook and stir 30 sec. Stir in onions; cook 2 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add chicken; cook 2 min., stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes and seasonings; cook 10 min., stirring occasionally while mashing tomatoes with back of spoon.
Add Kraft Dinner Smart; mix lightly.
Substitute:
Prepare using ground beef, turkey or lamb.
