CONFETTI KD SMART

Prep Time: 5 min. | Total Time: 20 min.

Makes: 4 servings, 1 cup (250 mL) each.

What You Need:

  • 1 pkg. (150 g) Kraft Dinner Smart Vegetable Macaroni & Cheese
  • 1 cup each shredded carrots and zucchini
  • ½ cup Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

Make It:

Prepare Kraft Dinner Smart in large saucepan, following the Sensible Solution directions on package. Add vegetables to the boiling water after 3 min. of the macaroni cooking time. Add mozzarella; stir until melted.

Substitute:

Substitute 2 cups frozen peas or shredded sweet potatoes for the carrots and zucchini.

Nutrition Bonus:

The carrots in this colourful Mac'N'Cheese are an excellent source of vitamin A. And as a bonus, the cheese is a good source of calcium.
