Sugar in the Raw brand of turbinado style golden sugar contains about the same amount of sucrose as refined white sugar. It has been refined, and while this cleaning process removes most of the natural molasses, a portion remains, giving Sugar in the Raw it's blonde colour and distinctive flavour.
