Tricks of the Trade
Keep a few tricks up your sleeve when packing lunches. Don't have any flour tortillas? Just flatten out a piece of normal bread with a rolling pin. No plastic knives on hand to send for spreading condiments? Send a couple of carrot sticks!
Grade-A Packing
Pack two snacks using just one sandwich bag. Place first snack in one side of bag. Tie centre of bag with a pipe cleaner or twist tie. Set second snack in the other side of bag and seal. This keeps dry snacks dry and wet ones moist.
Stay Cool
Use insulated lunch boxes or bags. Then pack a frozen Del Monte Fruit Juice. It serves as both a drink and an ice pack to keep lunch cool. By lunchtime, the drink box should be cold and ready to drink.
