Trishia's Taco Salad

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 EACH green pepper and red pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 3/4 package Kraft Tex Mex shredded cheese
  • 1 bottle (16 oz./475 mL) Kraft Catalina Salad Dressing
  • 1 large bag zesty cheese corn tortilla chips, broken
Preparation
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with diced peppers and onions until meat is fully cooked. Drain.

In a large bowl, combine cooked beef mixture with beans, cheese and dressing. Chill for about 6 hours.

Add tortilla chips just before serving.
Notes
I first had this salad at my cousin Trishia's place, when she prepared it as part of her daughter's birthday party.
