Great 'Canadian' Strawberry Pound Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 pound cake- 16 slices
- 2 pkg. Jell-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3 cups ice cubes
- 3 cups sliced strawberries - 1 1/2 lb.
- 1 tub Cool Whip (or KRAFT Miracle Whip)
Preparation
Line a 13x9 pan with the pound cake.
Dissolve the Jell-O powder into boiling water and ice and stir it for 3-5 minutes. Stir in 2 cups of berries, and then pour it over the cake. Spread out the topping.
Chill it for 2 hours. Garnish it with strawberries before serving.

Great for Canada Day or just anytime!
