Canada Day Flag Cake

Ingredients:
  • Prepared Sponge Cake or angel food cake
  • Prepared whip cream
  • Orange juice
  • Strawberries washed and sliced
Preparation
1. Cut prepared cake length wise in half, set aside.

2. Mix together about 1 cup of whip cream and about 1/4 cup of orange juice (you don’t want the whip cream to be too runny if it is add more whip cream).

3. Spread whip cream mixture on top on sponge cake. Top with sliced strawberries. Place other half of sponge cake on top of strawberries. Use remaining whip cream to use as icing on the top and sides of cake. Use the remaining strawberries to decorate the top of the cake like the Canadian flag.

4. Put in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
Instead of strawberries you could use raspberries as well.
