Ingredients:
- 230 mL margarine
- 500 mL granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 180 mL cocoa powder
- 10 mL vanilla
- 330 mL all-purpose flour
- 2 mL salt
- 6 mL Magic Baking Powder
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Cream together margarine and sugar
3. Add eggs and beat mixture thoroughly
4. Stir in cocoa and vanilla
5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder together
6. Add flour mixture to cocoa mixture slowly while stirring
7. Spread in greased and floured cake pan
8. Bake for 25 minutes for moist chewy brownies or 30 minutes for cake-like brownies
9. Let cool in pan
10. Cut into squares or bars
