Hamburger Noodle Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 cans (248-ml each) Campbell’s Tomato Soup
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 bag (380g) No Yolks Egg Noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups Kraft Double Cheddar Grated Cheese
  • 7-9 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 slices bread, grated into fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup butter (to drizzle over bread crumbs)
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large pan, sauté the beef and onion, seasoned with salt and pepper, in the 2 Tbsp. butter just until beef loses its red color. Drain and return to pan.

2. Add both cans of tomato soup and green pepper plus the sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes.

3. In a large pot filled with water cook the noodles.

4. Put the cooked noodles in a casserole dish. Add the hamburger mixture. Add the cheese and bacon and mix well. Top with the bread crumbs and drizzle with butter.

5. Bake in covered casserole for 45 minutes, lifting the lid the last 15 min of baking.
