    Baking Cookies - Preparation Tips

    Of course there are so many varieties and recipes of cookies that it would be impossible to list tips for them all, but we have gather some general tips for you to keep in mind regardless of what recipe you are using:

    Easy Clean-Up
    Line baking sheets with parchment paper, the cookies won't stick to the paper. You can use the baking sheet several times. Once finished baking the cookies, simply remove the paper. No need to wash the baking sheets.

    Easy Way to Line a Pan
    Here's a quick trick - line baking pans with aluminum foil. Mould the foil over the bottom of the pan then pop the pre-formed foil into the pan. No more finger tips going through the foil in the corners!

    Uniform Baking
    Make cookies the same size and space them evenly on the baking sheet so they bake uniformly and don't burn. Use a small scoop or measuring spoon to evenly measure out cookie batter.

    Easy Rolling
    Roll cookie dough out between sheets of plastic wrap. This way the dough won't stick to the counter or the rolling pin.

    Successful Baking
    While baking allow baking sheets to cool to room temperature between each batch of cookies. The cookie dough can become soft and spread if placed on warm baking sheets.
