Fresh herbs flavour this holiday dinner special, along with a little help from our Caesar dressing. Take a cue from Canadians with an English heritage and serve it with Yorkshire Pudding.

Garlic & Herb-Crusted Prime Rib

what you need

  • ¾ cup Kraft Creamy Caesar Dressing, divided
  • 1 beef prime rib roast (5 lb./2.2 kg), 2 to 3 ribs
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

1. POUR ½ cup dressing over meat in large shallow glass dish. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate. Heat oven to 325ºF. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade. Place meat, bone-side down, in roasting pan. Bake 1 hour 45 min.

2. MIX remaining dressing, herbs and garlic. Brush meat with dressing mixture.

3. BAKE an additional 30 to 40 min. or until 150ºF. Remove from oven.

4. COVER with foil; let stand 15 to 20 min. or until 160ºF for medium doneness before slicing.
