Easy-Bake Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. MAGIC Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup KRAFT Double Cheddar Shredded Cheese
  • 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 9 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Product, divided

  • HEAT oven to 450ºF. Mix flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, sugar and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in Cheddar. Add milk; stir until mixture forms soft dough.
  • PLACE on lightly floured surface; knead 8 to 10 times or until smooth. Pat dough into 6-inch square; cut into 9 smaller squares. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
  • BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cut in half; spread with cream cheese product.
