Delicious, quick and soooo easy. Made it at least 3 times. Used the basil leaves from my garden so was made during the summer and fall. Basil leaves can be expensive in the supermarkets - especially 2 cups. Also roasted the pinenuts and believe this really adds to the taste. Can't imagine this Pesto without the pinenuts. Keeps in the fridge for future uses - just in case you want to make this spur of the moment. Pinenuts is only ingredient I don't always have on hand.

Excellent and easy - we use it on pasta, or on grilled pork chops and chicken. Freezes beautifully and stays bright green (not like the nasty store-bought stuff).

This is great for a quick lunch, 1 cup pasta=1 cube of pesto and zap it in the microwave for a bit...very good and smells great while it's heating up.
