PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towel. Mince 2 cloves of the garlic; add to dressing. Place chicken in roasting pan; brush with dressing mixture. Refrigerate 15 min. to marinate.
PLACE remaining 20 garlic cloves around chicken in pan.
BAKE 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through (180°F), basting with pan juices after 30 min. Let stand 10 min. before serving.
