40-Minute Barbecued Chicken recipe

What You Need

3 lb. chicken pieces (legs, wings, and thighs)
1 cup (250 mL) Bull's-Eye Barbecue Sauce, any flavour, divided

Make It

HEAT barbecue to high heat. Place chicken in resealable plastic bag. Add 3/4 cup barbecue sauce; close bag. Shake gently to evenly coat chicken with sauce. Remove chicken from bag; discard bag and sauce.

PLACE chicken on one side of barbecue; grill 2 min. Meanwhile, use fork to poke a few holes in large sheet of foil. Place foil on other side of barbecue grate. Turn chicken over; place on foil. Close lid; turn burner off under chicken.

GRILL chicken 35 min. or until done (170ºF), turning and brushing with remaining sauce after 30 min.

Size and temperature of barbecues will vary so cooking time is approximate. Larger pieces of chicken will take a little longer to cook.
