I used 1/2 a chili packet instead of taco, it was great, it puts a great spin the old fashioned grammas mac n cheese with beef and tomatoes. My husband LOVED it! the kids not soo much, but they arent as big on Tex Mex as we are!!

I go back to this recipe time and again when I'm looking for something last minute to make for dinner. My whole family absolutely loves it. I always add shredded cheddar on top before baking. I also make my own Taco seasoning, so it's cheaper to make then buying the packets individually. Really yummy with a dollop of sour cream and guacomole on top to finish it off.

Two of my kids favourites in one great meal.... KD and tacos! My whole family loved it and my sister wanted the recipe. Great for a quick easy meal. I added some Kraft Tex Mex shredded cheese on top before baking.

This is a great quick meal that my whole family enjoyed! I didn't layer it but instead mixed all the ingredients together, and also added crushed nacho chips and a little sour cream which gave it a real taco taste. Also sprinkled grated cheddar cheese on top before baking.
