What You Need

2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

4 oz. Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate, coarsely chopped

1/2 cup butter

1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened

1-1/4 cups sugar, divided

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1/3 cup Kraft Pure Raspberry Jam

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX flour, baking soda and salt. Microwave chopped chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 2 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Whisk in cream cheese. Add 1 cup sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour mixture. Refrigerate 15 min.

ROLL dough into 1-inch balls; coat with remaining sugar. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets. Press your thumb into centre of each ball; fill each indentation with about 1/4 tsp. jam.

BAKE 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min. on baking sheet; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.

These were simple and super tasty. I definately recommend putting the jam in a ziploc bag and cutting the corner to pipe it into each cookie. If you'd rather not have any jam in the cookies, they bake up nicely as little chocolate snowballs too!

These cookies are quite good. Almost like a brownie. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I think the 375 is way too hot of an oven. I burnt half my cookies! After lowering the temp to 350 and only baking for 8 mins, they turned out perfect!

I needed a recipe for a cookie exchange and wanted to try this one right away. These cookies looked so yummy when the came out of the oven. But to my disappointment they seem to be lacking flavor, like a brownie without icing or something. I'm second guessing making them again I'd be rather embarrassed if people thought they weren't tasty. :( Maybe the semi-sweet chocolate would make a difference.

I only had 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate, so I added 2 squares semi sweet chocolate. I love them. Wonderful!

Very simple to make. Fun and adorable cookies. I have a member in the family who does not like cream cheese, and she begged me not to give them away in my cookie exchange!
