This banana bread turned out so moist...would highly recommend it. Lots of great comments on it.

Although the flavor was ok, the bread was so moist that it did not raise properly. You can also still taste the mayonnaise too much. May try again, but without the mayo and maybe more baking powder!

very moist loaf - I substituted the sugar for splenda as my husband is diabetic and it still turned out great

Very easy to make. My 12 & 9 year old girls do make the banana bread with our my help. Thanks for the easy recipe.

I have searched high and low for a banana bread recipe that would consistently be devoured by my family and receive rave reviews and finally found it with this one! I use whole wheat flour for 1/2 the flour and I have substituted 1/2 the sugar for splenda plus I use the Calorie Wise Miracle whip for a healthier version all around and I still get rave reviews.

The miracle whip threw me off when I first saw this recipe, but since I had all the ingredients on hand, I decided to give it a try. Best banana bread I've ever made. Love it.

I found this recipe easy to follow and easy to make. This was my first time ever making banana bread and would use this recipe again.

@Lisa, I would think it's not a good idea to make it in a breadmaker - this is a "quick bread" and you only stir the wet and dry just until it's combined - otherwise you get a tough product with tunnels in it and an unappealing texture and appearnce. Given the easy effort involved I don't know why you would want to bother trying it in a breadmaker anyway?
