What You Need

1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided

3/4 cup butter

1-1/4 cups sugar

2 eggs

1-3/4 cups flour

1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder

17 Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, cut in half

3 Tbsp. milk

Make It

CHOP 6 oz. chocolate; place in medium microwaveable bowl. Add butter. Microwave on MEDIUM 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each. Add combined flour and baking powder; mix well. (Dough will be very soft.) Refrigerate 2 hours.

HEAT oven to 350°F. Roll rounded tablespoonfuls of dough into 34 balls, each about 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 8 to 9 min. or until no longer wet and shiny. (Cookies will still be soft.) Immediately top each cookie with marshmallow half, cut-side down. Bake 2 min. or until marshmallows start to puff. Cool 5 min. on baking sheets; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.

CHOP remaining chocolate; place in small microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM 2 min.; stir until completely melted. Stir in milk until well blended. Drizzle over cookies. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate is firm.

These cookies were fantastic and easy to make! Be sure not to bake the marshmallows for too long otherwise they begin to slide off - 2 minutes proved to be perfect with my oven. I will be making these again soon!

These were very yummy, but they flattened out terribly in the oven. I had refrigerated them for 24+hrs, which may have changed them, but the recipe said it was ok, so they shouldn't have turned out quite like that. They were still good though. I'll have to experiment with consistency next time.

Everything works fine on this recipe until you get to the drizzle on top. Adding 3 tbsp of milk makes it way too runny and whether using a spoon or a piping bag, it made a big mess. Just use the melted chocolate without adding milk. I feel like I just wasted all my ingredients, they look terrible and I have to start over to find something for a bakesale tomorrow.
