This dessert is so easy and delicious. I make it lots. It even tastes better than store bought molten lava cakes. Much better than any restaurant that claims "lava cake".

Made this recipe for my family this weekend- what a hit! I made the muffin cup size, just enough for dessert after a big family dinner. This is a "do again" recipe!

I wow'd my guests with this dessert after dinner. It is SO easy to whip up in no time. I popped it into the oven after my guests started eating. I used ramekins and sprayed cooking spray so that the cakes would not stick to the bottom. Make sure you follow the times exactly or the cake will be cooked through (12-13min). I left the cake uncut and let my guests discover for themselves the gooey molten lava center. I used a scoop of ice cream instead of cool whip and stuck in thinly sliced strawberries for some color. Delish!
