I have tried this, or variations of this recipe about a half-dozen times, and I find that instead of 1/2 cup Miracle whip, use 1/4 cup Lite Miracle whip, and 1/4 cup low-fat sour cream is best for my picky eaters

I have been making guacamole exactly like this for years. Just one thing - 1/2 a cup of miracle whip is waaay too much!! Start with one tablespoon of real mayonnaise (not miracle whip) and you can add a little more to suit your taste. Remember when cooking, you can always ADD more of an ingredient - but rarely can you take it out if you have begun with too much.

I make this recipe all the time, but I use a tablespoon of real mayonaise instead of 1/4 cup of Miracle Whip and sometimes I use a couple of tablespoons of salsa instead of the tomatoes. It's so good that the bowl is empty in no time.

I liked the taset but I would reduce the Miracle Whip to 1/4 cup as it seems to be runny for my liking.

Just made this today, excellent and easy. I've added a few other ingredients to make it mine...chilie peppers, chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion etc. 1/2 cup of mayo was to much so I just added a few table spoons and it was fantastic!!
