What You Need

2-1/2 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup flaked coconut

4 pkg. (250 g each) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup sugar

3 Tbsp. Bird's Custard Powder

4 eggs

1/2 cup whipping cream

6 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix baking crumbs, butter, pecans and coconut; press firmly onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.

BEAT cream cheese, sugar and custard powder in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.

BAKE 40 min. or until centre is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Place whipping cream and chocolate in saucepan. Cook on low heat until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally. Pour over cheesecake. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate is firm. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

This party-size cheesecake is great for large crowds. Be mindful of serving size.

Special Extra

After chocolate topping is firm, place 2 additional chocolate squares in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM 2 min., stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Pour into small resealable bag; seal bag. Snip off one small corner from bottom of bag; twist top of bag to squeeze chocolate from bag to pipe a special message, such as " Greetings," on top of cheesecake.

Very Easy to make. Made this for a family gathering and people who said they didn't like cheesecake - had seconds!!!!! I used white chocolate to write on the top.

I just made this cake for our Christmas dinner dessert. It was terrific! It looked great, especially with "Merry Christmas" added to the top in white chocolate. It seemed easier than other cheesecakes I've made in the past and it was certainly easier to cut it up than round cheesecake. Several family members took some home to enjoy as well. I'll certainly keep this in my recipe book!

This cheesecake was great. I took it to our family dinner and everyone loved it. So much so that it was gone in about three mintues. I also found it eazy to make, I had surgery on my hand the day before but still mangaged to pull this awsome cake!Thanks

I took this large cake to a BBQ. People LOVED it! It was easy to make and beautiful when done! My only complaint is that some of the younger folks actually thought it was a large Naniamo Bar and were disappointed that it was a cheese cake.

this cake was so easy to make. And it just came out absolutely great. No one could believe I made it. Everyone was asking me for the recipe. I'm somone who has just started cooking and baking, and I if I can make this. Anyways can make it. It just taste amasing. It went really fast.
