Fabulous recipe!I've made them many times over the year and people always comment how they love the chocolate/citrus aspect of them. I will add orange juice/zest at times either in replacement or in addition to the lemon and the recipe works great!!

These turned out perfect, didn't change the recipe for the cookies at all. Although, I did not do the chocolate drizzle as my house hold wouldn't enjoy them as much! Just a note, if you had issues with them going flat, it could be that your eggs were not at room temp when you separated them. Colder egg whites tend to "thin" out when baked.

Fantastic. I used orange zest instead of lemon and they turned out great.

Very mediocre recipe..... decent flavor, but nothing very exciting.

My cookies did not go flat - but I wondered if maybe it was because I had to substitute white chocolate chips for the squares??

I just made these - YUMMY!!! I do agree with the egg whites - Cut down to 3 otherwise they go flat flat flat. I left out the lemon...and drizzled chocolate and topped with a 1/4 candied cherry - looks and tastes great! Thanks.
