I was surprised that the recipe didn't call for salt, but still made it without it. We liked it the way it was, BUT it does need salt. I'm going to make it again and add at least 1 tsp salt to it. I'd say, don't even bother making it without the salt, unless you don't mind a bit of a bland taste. Oh, and it freezes well! I baked it a week before a bday party and just pulled it out of the freezer a few hours before. It tasted just as fresh as it was when it came out of the oven. I loved the idea of having "guilt free" scones without the extra butter/margarine!

Sorry this was a disaster for me they didn't rise much and they were doughy and I ended up throwing them out. To bad as they were made for Christmas morning brunch. I make T biscuits all the time and we love them but these were a bust. Hope everyone else has better luck.

Fabulous! I made a wonderful beef stew and a salad to accompany these biscuits - what an easy, warm and cozy meal. Try them - you will love them! (I had to double the recipe, though, as my family party "needed" 2 each to satisfy themselves!

Very bland even after using herb and garlic cream cheese. Would not make again.

These were okay. I used the herbed cream cheese that others suggested and it tasted alright, but not as good as I'd hoped.

I used herb and garlic cream cheese as others suggested. I was disappointed in this recipe as many raved over it and we thought it was just ok.

Is there a 6 star rating, or a 10? These biscuits are awesome! I used the tub of Kraft Herb-Spice Dip and have made them 3 times this past week, sending welcomed samples to friends and neighbours. My husband took a half-dozen to work the other day for his lunch, cut them in half and put smoked meat in the middle. Fantastic. Ham would be good in the middle, too. The sky's the limit with these biscuits. Cudos to the creator. These, and your Easter Ham will be part of the dinner that my literacy students and I are putting on for our Municipal Village Council.
