This is a delicious and easy dish, and a great alternative to traditional meat pies which I enjoy greatly but are very time consuming to make. I used a combination of pork and beef, and the tortieres turned out fantastically!

I use pork & veal and also use allspice and cloves, its delicous just like my grandmother made.

I found the flavour to be great, but my filling didn't stay in the pie. I have another recipe where it calls for mashed potatoe and that one is more solid.
