I mixed in the bacon bits and chives with the cream cheese (one can never have too many bacon bits), and still topped with bacon and chives. As I prefer heated potatoes I placed this under the broiler for about 5 min, to take the chill away, delicious! They were a huge hit.

I made it for a church function and everyone loves them. It was an instant hit. The next time I made it, I got a little adventurous by using Roasted Red Pepper Cream Cheese, for variety; as well as the original recipe. They disappeared so fast. :)

This recipe is a great one for entertaining on a sports night. I scooped out a small amount of potato, mixed it with cooked ground beef & topped it onto the potatoes with the rest of the mentioned ingredients. It was a hit, very filling when made this way, a great finger food idea.

Awesome! Easy, and tastier than I expected of cold potatoes. Make sure and use real bacon bits for a good flavor.

These were excellent. I made them for a barbecue and made a plate for my family aswell. My dad ate them all. Everyone at the barbecue asked for the recipe.
