My family loved this recipe. I didn't use the microwave for any of this recipe. I layered a tortilla on the bottom and on every layer also added refried beans...A real hit.

This was absolutely delicious. I did not use the microwave for any of it - stove top and oven only. A nice twist to the traditional soft shell taco. I will definetly make this again.

I made the beef part on the stove. I also added some chopped up yellow onions, green and orange peppers. I put it in the oven instead, putting an extra layer of tortillas on the very bottom (this made it easier to get it out of the pan)as well put salsa in each layer of beef. Also added jalapenos and corn.

This is a fantastic recipe especially if you have kids who love Taco Bell (too much!) and would like to offer similar foods but with fewer calories and less fast-food fat. I used a shallow 3 quart glass bowl instead of the pie plate; also added some black olives as an extra topping. Wow!!! Everybody loved it and the bowl was scraped clean. An instant favourite.

this is a favourite in our house! Anyone in the family can make it, it's so easy - and so tasty that there are never leftovers.

This was good. I did it in the oven and I lightly buttered the tortias then lightly sprinkled then with chili powder to flavour the sometimes bland taste of the tortials.

I also did not microwave the beef, and added some melted cheez-whiz. Some velveeta cheese sauce would be yummy on it as well.
