I have used this recipe several times but added: 1 shredded carrot, 1 med. chopped onion, sauteed, 2 stocks celery chopped, 1 Tsp. poultry seasoning, 1 Tsp. dried sage, 1/2 Tsp pepper & 2 minced garlic gloves. The stuffing is moist and excellent. Highly recommended.

Simple and Superb sums this recipe up! I will never make my turkey any other way again. In my family it has always been tradition to do make sausage stuffing for the turkey, and our mother made the best! I've never been able to recreate her savory stuffing no matter how hard I tried, until now that is. I added in some chop onion, fresh chopped parsley, poultry seasoning and a sprinkle of ginger. Once again Kraft you have delivered a truly great recipe made with ease in my kitchen, thanks and Happy New year! P.S. I can't wait to make it again and try the chopped pecans in the stuffing!

The only stuffing I've ever made in my life is sausage stuffing: 1 lb sausage, add (to your taste)minced garlic, chopped onion, bread crumbs, and sage to the scent you prefer. Stuff into bird, and baste. Voila! magnifique! LOL

Omit the stove top stuffing and use chopped onion and chopped chestnuts instead. Whole faimily has been stuffing turkey this way as far back as I can remember, this goes in a flash and some think its the best part of a turkey dinner.

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving dinner. It was great, Great tasting and took the pressure off of making it from scratch and trying to get the flavor just right. A definite keeper.!! Jensen1

I tried the stuffing recipe for friends that were celebrating their first Thanksgiving after moving here from Euroope. Their adult son first thought it was "weird" (the idea of dressing) and ended going back from seconds.
