PARTIALLYMELT 1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate in microwave in large bowl on MEDIUM 3-4 minutes. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.

ADD 1/4 cup butter, 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 tsp. Magic Baking Powder, mix well.

STIR IN a second package (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped and 1 cup chopped pecans (optional). Drop by heaping spoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350°F 12-13 minutes. Cool for 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container.

Note
If omitting nuts, increase flour to 3/4 cup to prevent cookies from spreading.
Cooking Know-How
Make cookies the same size and space them evenly on the baking sheet so they cook uniformly and don't burn.
