MICROWAVE 6 squares chocolate with butter on MEDIUM power for about 2 minutes; remove and stir until smooth.
STIR in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and stir until blended. Pour batter into a greased 8-inch (20 cm) springform pan or greased and waxed paper lined 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan.
BAKE at 350°F (180°C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
MELT remaining chocolate. Drizzle over top and spread on sides of torte. Garnish with toasted chopped nuts.
