Blueberry-Orange Crunch Cookies

Makes 12 servings (2 cookies each)
1/2 cup softened butter
1-1/2 cups  firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp.  grated orange peel
1 cup flour
1 tsp.  baking powder
2 cups whole grain cereal flakes with blueberries and almonds

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

BEAT butter and sugar with electric mixer until creamy. Add egg and orange peel; beat until well blended.

STIR in flour and baking powder; mix well. Stir in cereal. Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheet.

BAKE for 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet for 2 min. before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

" AWESOME!!! I made these for my dad for father's day because he likes fruity cookies and almonds. I used the same cereal but without the blueberries... I only had the almond kind. So easy, so crunchy and so good!"
