Braised Tomato Spareribs

What You Need

2 lb. (1 kg) pork spareribs, cut into single-rib or bite-size portions
2 cans (19 fl oz/540 mL each) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/4 cup Kraft Sun-Dried Tomato & Oregano Dressing
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
2-2/3 cups hot cooked instant white rice

Make It

PLACE ribs in slow cooker. Add tomatoes, dressing, soy sauce and garlic salt; cover with lid.

COOK on LOW for 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH for 4 hours). Skim and discard fat from top of sauce.

SERVE ribs and sauce over the rice.

Add 1 Tbsp. grated gingerroot along with the tomatoes.

Short ribs are sometimes sold as sweet-and-sour ribs. But feel free to use any type of ribs when making this recipe.
