What You Need

1/2 lb. (225 g) extra-lean ground beef
2 cups canned no-salt-added kidney beans, rinsed
3/4 cup salsa
1/2 cup Kraft Tex Mex Light Shredded Cheese
6 large whole wheat tortillas, warmed
1/2 cup light sour cream
1-1/2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped

Make It

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Stir in beans and salsa; cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in cheese.

SPREAD meat mixture down centres of tortillas; top with remaining ingredients. Fold in opposite sides of each tortilla, then roll up burrito-style.

Stir desired amount of hot pepper sauce into meat mixture before spreading onto tortillas.
Makeover - How We Did It
We've taken a favourite burrito recipe and made it over by substituting whole wheat tortillas for plain flour tortillas, reducing the extra-lean ground beef and increasing the vegetables. These changes will save 100 calories and 4 grams of total fat per serving.
