What You Need

1 cup pasta sauce

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup Kraft Original BBQ Sauce

340 g (1/2 of 680-g pkg.) frozen fully-cooked meatballs

4 crusty sandwich buns, split

1/2 cup Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

Make It

MIX pasta sauce, water, and barbecue sauce in large skillet until blended.

ADD meatballs; stir to evenly coat. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; simmer on medium heat 8 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

SPOON into buns; top with cheese.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp green salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.

Like it spicy? Season meatball mixture with hot pepper sauce to taste before spooning into buns.

I and my husband don't like to much bread. So I torn out the inside of the buns. Made my own meatballs,and my own sauce,and added my own tid-bits for extra flavor. So if you don't like bread tear out the centers. To make it look like a boat for kids. will make again.

I too would not call this a recipe since nothing in it is 'from scratch'. I do make awesome meatball subs . . . which includes homemade sauce & homemade meatballs as they are much better and healthier for you. Who would ever serve meatball subs for a SUNDAY dinner???

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "recipe" if you use pre-made pasta sauce, meatballs, BBQ sauce and buns... I'm sure it would be tasty, and quick to make, but I would like to see more recipes that rely less on these pre-made products.

These were great! They were so quick and easy to make and perfect for a busy weeknight meal. It was excellent for lunch the following day as well, everyone commented on how good they smelled and they tasted even better!

Excellent recipe...makes a lot but if you find the sauce too runny add a bit of the shredded mozzarella cheese to thicken...my family has this every Sunday night
