What You Need

4 boneless pork chops (1 lb./450 g), 1/2 inch thick
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cut into wedges
1 large onion, cut into wedges
3/4 cup water
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 lb. (115 g) Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Make It

COOK chops in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min. on each side or until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.

ADD apples, onions and water to skillet; cover. Simmer on medium heat 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

STIR in Velveeta; top with chops. Simmer, covered, 5 min. or until chops are done (160ºF).

Serve with a quick bagged salad tossed with your favourite KRAFT Dressing.
Special Extra
Add 1 lb./450 g red potatoes (about 3), cut into wedges, along with the apples and onions.
