Cheezy Vegetable Soup

Cheezy Vegetable Soup recipe

What You Need

1 onion, chopped
4 cups 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
3 cups frozen mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrot, cauliflower blend)
1/2 cup Cheez Whiz Cheese Spread

Make It

SPRAY large saucepan with cooking spray. Add onions; cook on medium heat 7 min. or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in broth. Bring to boil.

ADD vegetables; stir. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 min. or until vegetables are tender. Carefully mash vegetables with potato masher until desired consistency.

STIR in Cheez Whiz; cook 2 min. or until Cheez Whiz is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Substitute
Substitute vegetable broth for the 25%-less-sodium chicken broth.
Make Ahead
Cool prepared soup. Pour into 4 small freezer containers; cover with lids. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Empty contents into small saucepan to reheat just before serving.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a bagged salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.
