Chili-Style Tomato Soup

What You Need

1 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 cans (19 fl oz/540 mL each) chili-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 medium carrots, chopped
1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup Kraft Calorie-Wise Thousand Island Dressing

Make It

COOK and stir onions in hot oil in large skillet until tender. Add tomatoes, carrots and chicken broth; mix well. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 15 min. or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.

TRANSFER vegetable mixture to a blender container in small batches; cover. Blend until smooth, adding dressing to the last batch. Serve warm or chilled.

Substitute
Create a vegetarian version of this delicious soup by using canned vegetable broth instead of the chicken broth.
