ARRANGE 8 slices of cubed egg bread in square glass baking dish.
MICROWAVE 6 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate with 2 1/2 cups light cream or milk on HIGH for 3 minutes, stir until melted and smooth.
WHISK 5 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar into chocolate mixture. Pour over bread. Let stand 10 minutes.
COVER dish with foil. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve with prepared Bird's Custard Powder.
