MIX flour, 1/3 cup (75 mL) brown sugar & butter until crumbly. Press mixture into 13 x 9 in (33 x 22 cm) baking pan; bake 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
HEAT milk & 6 squares chocolate over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted & mixture is smooth; cool 5 minutes; spread over crust.
BEAT egg & remaining sugar; add nuts & cherries. Spoon mixture over chocolate layer. Bake 25 minutes; cool. Cut into bars.
MELT remaining chocolate & drizzle over bars. Store in refrigerator.
