BLEND milk, dessert topping mix, sugar and flavoring in deep narrow-bottom bowl.
PREPARE dessert topping as directed on package.
SPREAD about 1 Tbsp. dessert topping on each wafer and stack in groups of 6 wafers.
PLACE wafer stacks end to end on a serving plate to form a log.
FROST top and sides with remaining dessert topping.
DECORATE with chocolate curls, grated chocolate or candied cherries.
CHILL at least 4 hours.
CUT into diagonal slices to serve.
