  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Spray with cooking spray. Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Cut in margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add oats, coconut and nuts; mix well.
  • Press half the crumb mixture into bottom of prepared pan; sprinkle with chocolate. Spoon jam over top; cover with remaining crumb mixture.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until lightly browned. Use foil handles to lift dessert from pan; place on wire rack. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

How to Toast Nuts

Heat oven to 350°F. Spread nuts into single layer on baking sheet. Bake 5 to 7 min. or until lightly toasted.

Cooking Know-How

If you don't have a pastry blender, use 2 knives to quickly and easily cut the margarine, in a crisscross fashion, into the flour mixture.

Very tasty! Perfect combination of chocolate and raspberry. I made a few modifications - I used an additional square of chocolate and used 2/3 of the crumb mixture for the base.
