What You Need!

1-1/2 lb. (680 g) extra lean ground beef
1 pkg.  (120 g) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1-1/4 cups water, divided
1   onion, chopped
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup  KRAFT Original BarBQ Sauce

Make It!

HEAT oven to 375°F. Mix meat, stuffing mix, 1 cup water and onions until well blended. Shape into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) oval patties. Place in 15x10x3/4-inch pan.

BAKE 25 min. or until patties are done (160°F).

MEANWHILE, spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add mushrooms; cook on medium-high heat 5 min. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add barbecue sauce and remaining water; simmer on low heat 1 to 2 min. or until sauce is heated through. Serve over meat patties.

Makeover - How We Did It
We have taken a classic comfort food and made it over by preparing it with extra lean ground beef and cooking the mushrooms in a nonstick skillet instead of in a regular skillet with butter. These changes will save you 8 g of fat per serving.

" I would make this recipe again but add more things to it, such as more barbecue sauce, mushrooms, water as it was alittle dry and a little salt as was a little bland for rest of the family."
