1-1/2 lb. (675 g) extra lean ground beef
1 pkg.  (120 g) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1-1/4 cups water, divided
1   onion, chopped
2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup  KRAFT Original BarBQ Sauce

HEAT oven to 375°F. Mix meat, stuffing mix, 1 cup of the water and the onions until well blended. Shape into six 1/2-inch-thick oval patties. Place in 15x10x3/4-inch baking pan.

BAKE 25 min. or until cooked through (160°F).

MEANWHILE, spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add mushrooms; cook on medium-high heat 5 min. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add barbecue sauce and remaining 1/4 cup water. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 to 2 min. or until sauce is heated through. Serve over the patties.

Makeover - How We Did It
We have taken a classic comfort food and made it over. We used extra lean ground beef in place of ground beef and instead of sauteing the mushrooms in butter we made ours in a nonstick skillet. These changes will save you 8 g of fat per serving.
Shortcut
To save time, look for washed and pre-sliced mushrooms now available in the produce section of your grocery store.

" Recipe calls for 1 - 1.5 pounds of beef. I used 2 pounds and had way too much meat. Otherwise, it was a great meal. I'd make it again!"
