What You Need

4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 cups granulated sugar
1/3 cup brandy
1-1/2 cups rolled quick-cooking oats
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
3/4 cup cold butter

Make It

HEAT oven to 300°F. Place cranberries in 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with granulated sugar; cover. Bake 1 hour. Add brandy; stir gently until well blended. Set aside.

MIX oats, flour, brown sugar and baking powder in large bowl until well blended. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; press 2/3 onto bottom of 9-inch square pan. Cover with cranberry sauce and remaining oat mixture.

BAKE 30 min. or until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into 20 squares to serve.

How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Version
Substitute orange juice for the brandy.
Make Ahead
Cranberry sauce can be stored in refrigerator up to 3 weeks before using as directed.
Variation
Omit oat crust and topping. Store cranberry sauce in refrigerator. Spoon over scoops of vanilla ice cream. Or pour prepared sauce into glass jars and give as hostess gifts.
