2 cups whole grain cereal flakes with raisins, dates and pecans
1/2 cup  firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 pkg.  (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 cup sour cream
4   eggs
1/2 cup oil

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan; set aside. Mix cereal, sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Beat cake mix, sour cream, eggs and oil in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Beat on medium speed 4 min.

POUR half of the batter into prepared pan; sprinkle with half of the cereal mixture. Repeat layers. Gently press cereal mixture into batter with back of spoon to secure.

BAKE 1 hour to 1 hour 5 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 min. Invert cake onto plate; gently remove pan. Return cake to wire rack, top-side up. Cool completely.

How to Bake in 13x9-inch Baking Pan
Prepare as directed, using greased 13x9-inch baking pan and reducing baking time to 30 to 35 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool completely in pan before cutting into squares to serve.
Special Extra
Mix 1/4 cup icing sugar and 1 Tbsp. lemon juice until well blended. Drizzle over cooled cake.

" Very good! I made mine in an angel cake pan and it was tasty. I forgot to put the oil in the first time and it still turned out excellent. I might fold blueberries into the batter next time, Served it on it's side with a Caramel sauce drizzled on top and a scoop of ice cream on the side to blow the calorie budget for sure! Nice to have recipies that I usually have all the ingredients for in the pantry!"
