Easy-Bake Cheddar Biscuits

What You Need

1 cup flour
2 tsp.  MAGIC Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp.  sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup  cold butter, cubed
1 cup KRAFT Double Cheddar Shredded Cheese
1/3 cup  plus 2 Tbsp. milk
9 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Product, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 450ºF. Mix flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, sugar and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in Cheddar. Add milk; stir until mixture forms soft dough.

PLACE on lightly floured surface; knead 8 to 10 times or until smooth. Pat dough into 6-inch square; cut into 9 smaller squares. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cut in half; spread with cream cheese product.

Cranberry-Cheddar Biscuits
Prepare as directed, stirring in 1/4 cup dried cranberries along with the Cheddar cheese. Spread with plain Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread.
Sun-Dried Tomato-Mozzarella Biscuits
Prepare as directed, substituting Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese for the Cheddar cheese and stirring in 1/4 cup chopped drained sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil along with the mozzarella cheese. Spread with plain Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread.
Bacon-Cheddar Biscuits
Prepare as directed omitting salt and stirring in 1/4 cup Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits along with the Cheddar cheese. Spread with plain Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread.

" This recipe was great!!! I made these biscuits for Sunday dinner with my in-laws. Everyone loved them! They were so quick and easy to put together and were sooo yummy. The cheese made al the difference. I will definitely make these again."
