What You Need

1 pkg. (510 g) chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare mix

4 cups cold milk

2 pkg. (4-serving size each) Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

1 tub (1 L) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed

4 (39 g each) toffee crunch chocolate bars, crushed

Make It

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 13x9-inch baking pan as directed on package. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 1/2-inch cubes.

ADD milk to dry pudding mix in medium bowl. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended.

LAYER half each of the cake cubes, pudding, whipped topping and crushed chocolate bar in large glass trifle bowl. Repeat all layers. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Sinfully delicious! It was the hit of the party! As a variation, u can substitute the chocolate cake for vanilla cake!

I made this recipe for Mother's Day. I changed it up by using one layer of vanilla pudding and one layer of chocolate pudding. Instead of chocolate cake I used marble cake mix. This recipe was a hit with the kids and my husband and I would definitely make again although next time I might try it with brownies and adding some fresh berries as suggested by another reviewer. Also it tasted better the longer it chilled.

I tried this recipe for dessert when company came over. Not bad. It was very easy to prepare which I loved but it didnt have that WOW factor. Would make again though. I added strawberries to mine for a little extra color and flavor.

I made this for Easter. It was delicious! I used skor bars instead of toffee crunch bars. I had to make it in 2 trifle bowls, so next time I wouldn't use as much of the cake.

So easy and yummy! I added an ounce of Kahlua over each cake layer, and I also added a pound of strawberries over top of each whipped cream layer. I got rave reviews from family and friends, and it looks soo much harder than it really is!
