HEAT oven to 400ºF.
PIERCE squash with sharp knife; place on microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 2 min.; cool 2 min. Meanwhile, mix sugar and dressing until well blended.
CUT each squash lengthwise in half, remove seeds. Then cut each half into 4 slices. Place in large bowl. Add dressing mixture; toss to evenly coat. Place, cut-sides down, on foil-covered baking sheet.
BAKE 45 min. or until squash is tender, turning after 25 min.
